Apollo
Enterprises, Inc. began in 1974 by Eugene F. Bax, Sr. as a custom home builder in the St. Louis area. Apollo quickly
became a respected builder because of Eugene's talent for detail. The company started as a family business with
three of Eugene's sons as carpenters. By the mid eighties Apollo left it's roots in custom home building and constructed
quality subdivisions in St.Charles. Over three hundred homes were built by Apollo in their quality subdivisions of St. Domic's,
High Meadow, Wheatfield Farms and Shepard Knoll. Early
in 2001, Eugene retired but the family business continued. Oldest son Gene, Jr. and youngest son, Jim took
over where their father left off. They returned to their expertise in building custom homes. They have built elegant
homes throughout the St. Louis, St. Charles and Jefferson County areas. In addition to custom homes, they have also made a
